Apple already selling refurbished iPhones
Less than two months after Apple began selling the iPhone in the US through AT&T and Apple Stores, it’s also offering refurbished iPhones on its own web site, retailing at $100 less than their original price.
Selling refurbished products isn’t a new thing for Apple. They’ve been shifting iPods, Macs, and other hardware for years in this way, usually because a customer has returned the product unwanted.
13 tech-related product placements in The Bourne Ultimatum
Last night, whilst all the ‘slebs were walking the red carpet in Leicester Square showing off their designer frocks for the premiere of The Bourne Ultimatum, a few of us lucky Shinies got to go to an advance screening with Motorola at the BAFTA down the road. No fancy dresses for us, we all wore jeans. And boy, were we impressed, and I don’t even LIKE Matt Damon. (Said in Team America-esque voice, obviously).

US mobile survey shows parents want to track kids; youth want to track friends
A survey of US mobile phone users by Jupiter Research suggests that, while only three percent use mobile navigation services such as maps and turn-by-turn instructions, parents and children are two distinct groups that would like to see greater tracking technology made available – for two different reasons.
Parents of under-13s, unsurprisingly, would like to be able to track the location of their children, with 42% saying they’d be interested and willing to pay for such a service. In the US, a relatively small number of under-13s own mobile phones.
