Rugged leather Logan satchels from Noon Solar are tech-forward, too

It’s been an age since we last featured a bag of some description here on Tech Digest, which is odd, considering the amount of kit the average reader must cart around with them, so bags are sorely needed!

Especially when they’re techie in their own right. These Noon Solar bags are, as you can guess from their name, solar-powered, and can charge your MP3 player, mobile phone, and assorted electronics when soaking up the rays. If, err, you can find any here in Britain.

Which may just be why it’s a US-based company, with this Logan satchel costing $412, or £206 with the current (fabulous) exchange rate.
