Samsung to launch app store at MWC 2009
Samsung will be announcing its very own app store at MWC. I’m sure I was saying something about the importance of this kind of thing just a few hours ago?
It’ll provide programs for phones on the S60 and Windows Mobile platforms when it launches with 1,100 applications later this month. They promise to open it up to other operating systems soon – so, er, Android then, right?
At launch if you don’t have one of the 11 chosen Samsung handset models, you probably won’t know too much about it. Included are the i8510, G810 and i900 Omnia. One hundred and fifty games are waiting for download if you’re one of the privileged few.
Why do I have a feeling that this is going to completely fall on it face?
