It’s obvious to anyone with a set of eyes that Apple are progressing to the more elegant, refined brushed metal aesthetics for their products, instead of churning out the almost-luminescent white items which have been copied by everyone and their pet dogs named Bilbo.

The latest rumour is regarding their iMac computers, which have had many different looks over the years, including a brief spell of being available in an array of transparent primary colours. No word has been said over the exact design of the new iMac, however 9-to-5Mac have photoshopped this image of what they imagine it to be. An insider has also claimed these new iMacs will contain the Santa Rosa chipset, and will be available in larger widths, discontinuing the 17″ versions.
