Christmas crooning with the Roadstar karaoke DVD player

Gadgets, Video Reviews

When the food has settled and the drink is kicking in, what could be better than murdering a few rock and pop standards in front of the TV? You get that Christmas Day option with the Roadstar karaoke DVD player.

For most of the year, it’s a standard DVD player, with all the features you would expect, including parental control, subtitles, zoom and multi-angle, multi-format compatibility and sockets for Scart, SVHS and AV, plus a fully-featured remote. But during the festive season, it really comes into its own.

Yes, it also comes with two microphones and inputs (so you can do that Kenny and Dolly duet), easy connectivity to a Hi-Fi and a starter kit of five karaoke DVDs to see you through the night.

Personally, I can’t imagine anything worse. But if you and the family like to get up and do a turn, you can pick this up for £49.99.
