It’s always a bit of a tease when you see something you quite fancy the look of quoted in Yen. Sadly, that’s the case with the mini-desktop PC from AOPEN known as the BB10. It’s essentially a good looking, palm-sized, aluminium box housing a mother board, 2GB of RAM and a 2.5″ SATA HDD all at the mercy of its 1.66GHz Atom 330 CPU.

Sure, an SSD would be preferable as would even more RAM, a Blu-ray burner and bags of HDMI ports but then that would make it cost more than 22,000 Yen which translates to around £170. That, my friends, is a space-efficient, decently specced, aesthetically pleasing, straight up bargain. You can even add a DVD drive if you want to and, of course, being an Atom, it’ll run quiet like mouse. What’s postage like from Japan anyway?
