Crysis Warhead revolutionises the settings menu

The forthcoming expansion pack to Crysis, Crysis Warhead has taken a novel approach to graphics settings. No, they haven’t toned down the graphics card-busting credentials of the series so that normal people can play the shooter, they’ve simply re-named the graphics setting labels to reflect the type of person that you are.

Rather than the perennial “low”, “medium” and “high”, which has served us well for the last twenty years, you instead have to decide whether you want graphics that are of “minimum”, “mainstream”, “gamer” or “enthusiast” calibre. Which is basically just a nice way of saying “I am poor”, “I have a mediocre personality”, “Hello ladies, I like computer games” and “Natural light burns my skin”.

Which one are you? You have to choose.
