BT still the leading ISP in the UK

bt-logo.jpgFour and half million subscribers can’t be wrong. That represents 30% of the web-surfing UK public and the number of customers using BT as their ISP. I myself am one of them.

BT puts their success down to the increase in the number and type of services they’ve offered, including home IT support and BT Vision which is now installed in 214,000 homes across the country. Pretty impressive stuff, if you ask me. But hands up who gets worried about their huge monopoly, and the power they possess because of it?

  • @mat

Has Tesco Broadband been bought out by BT, or whatever, “Part of the BT group”?

  • What is more scary about BT is that they happily buy other ISP’s that are doing well. They bought multi customer satisfaction award winning PlusNet last year
