MySpace to stream next month's US NME Awards live

nmyspace.jpgWell I guess the first piece of news is that the NME is taking its awards ceremony (“the world’s most influential”, apparently) over the Atlantic to Hollywood for what looks like a one-off moneymaking exercise.

The second thing is that the whole shebang is being streamed live on MySpace. No quality has been spared for the music rag’s American debut on April 23rd, Kate Nash is headlining and everything. You can vote for your winners here, I think. (It may be US residents only)
