3-logo-network.jpgGoing one step further than Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange, the UK mobile network 3 has announced the world’s first music video service in collaboration with Sony BMG.

Supported by revenue gained by adverts, it’s absolutely free to the user, with no data charges demanded from 3. Powered by Rhythm NewMedia, any artist signed to the Sony BMG label will find their music videos on the 3 music homepage on the mobile handset, with short targeted adverts appearing before the video, based on the user’s inputted data. Available now to all music-hungry 3 customers.
