Crikey. The multimedia bit refers to the N78’s ability to let you spend your pocket money buying music from the Nokia Music Store, with the phone also packing an FM radio for all you MUSIC THIEVES out there who insist of using the radio system.
The N78 also has a rather impressive 3.2megapixel camera with lenses and bits from global LensMaster Carl Zeiss, plus it does Nokia Maps and lets you share stuff via Nokia’s online youth portal Ovi. Hence the “community” reference.
And there’s also an A-GPS system in that little case for managing to find your dad’s house first time, and doing lots of advanced and fancy “Web 2.0” stuff like geo-tagging your photographs.
It’s packed. I would very much like to take one apart to see what it looks like inside!
The N78 will be available around the second quarter of this year, for a regular price of 350 euros. Which translates to £260. Which translates to FREE – as who ever actually pays money for a phone?
