Hot on the heels of the UK announcement of the newer, cheaper, lower-spec 40GB PlayStation3, comes news of this actually-quite-pretty Ceramic White version of Sony’s game machine. But it’s only for Japan at the moment, with those lucky, lucky people getting it on November 11.
It’s also vastly cheaper in Japan, where this 40GB version comes in at a bargain-bucket 39,980 yen – just under £170. Sony’s also releasing a white version of the DualShock3 controller on the same day, which will be eBay GOLD this Christmas if you can get your hands on one, thanks to Sony making European and American PS3 owners wait until 2008 to get the “new” vibrating controller.
