New Yorkers are the first to confront the robotic parking garage (and considering the quality of human parking guys in NYC, robots are at least, well, predictable). The cars are flipped, slid, and shoved into the most convenient locale, completely untouched by human hands, meaning it’s possible to pack more per square inch and arguably a safer, more reliable context. At least, once the million+ investment is paid off, it’ll be a cheaper context (though not for you, probably). Rates are $25 per day, which is the norm. [GT]
