Virgin Mobile has today launched what it claims is the UK’s most generous big data deal, with no caps, throttling or hidden catches. Truly Unlimited is a mobile plan created exclusively for Virgin Media’s TV, broadband and landline customers.

Unlike most other ‘unlimited’ offerings, Virgin Mobile’s new plan is – it claims – truly unlimited, giving its customers peace of mind. They can enjoy unlimited minutes, texts and data for just £25 a month, without the fear of ever exceeding their allowance. This comes as Virgin Mobile gives its existing 4G customers a speed boost of up to 50Mbps.

Truly Unlimited is a step towards bringing Virgin Mobile and Virgin Media’s services closer together. The company claims that Virgin Media’s ultrafast broadband coupled with top deals from Virgin Mobile give customers the ultimate connected experience (it also locks them into one service provider, of course!).

Whether using WiFi or superfast 4G, customers have fast speeds at their fingertips inside and outside the home and with Truly Unlimited can rest assured that they will never run out of data.

Say Jeff Dodds, Managing Director at Virgin Mobile:

“Virgin Mobile is giving our customers peace of mind by eliminating the fear of running out of data. Unlike our competitors, we won’t enforce caps or throttle speeds; our Truly Unlimited customers will get what it says on the tin – a truly unlimited service.

“Loyalty deserves to be rewarded and we’re going the extra mile to give our customers the best. From fast 4G to huge data plans, our customers are always covered.”

Truly Unlimited is available as a SIM Only deal or can be purchased alongside a handset, giving consumer customers flexibility and the freedom to call, text and stream to their heart’s content.

All of Virgin Mobile’s existing 4G customers, with and without cable services, will continue to benefit from data rollover and data-free WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Twitter as standard, so they can stretch their data further without anything leftover going to waste.

Virgin Mobile’s flexible plans also allow customers to change their tariff every 30 days, so whether they want more data or fewer minutes, they can tailor their plan to suit their needs.
