Amazon adds unlimited cloud photo storage for UK Prime users

Amazon, Web 2.0, Websites

Amazon has made its premium Amazon Prime offering even tastier for UK consumers – bundling in unlimited photo storage too.

Backed by Amazon Cloud Drive tech, Amazon will store full resolution photos and – perhaps crucially – make photos available across devices that can run Amazon’s apps – such as Amazon’s own Fire TV, as well as through the Amazon Instant Video apps on the likes of Playstation and Xbox.

Photos can be uploaded through the web, phone apps or desktop app that works in a similar way to Dropbox.

This means that for £79/year Amazon Prime gets you unlimited photo storage, access to the Kindle lending library, Amazon Instant Video and free next-day deliveries on stuff you buy from Amazon. Not bad.
