If the rumours are true, Apple should soon be updating the MacBook Pro Retina line with much-improved power specs.

According to Trusted Reviews, a photo of Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Pro Retina specs that was leaked in China shows that an upgrade looks to be coming soon.

The photo, said to have come from the company’s Paradise Walk store in Chongqing, shows the MacBook Pro with an updated processor lineup and standard 16GB of RAM.

The signage shows that Apple has updated the 15-inch MacBook Pro model with Retina display.

There are three configurations to choose from, all of which will come with Intel Core i7 CPUs, and even the base model will sport 16GB of RAM by default.

The rumour mill says we can probably expect a Q3 update from Apple, meaning the new MacBook Pro Retina line will probably arrive around September – about the same time that we all expect the iPhone 6 to appear.
