Amazon to unveil "3D phone" in a couple of weeks?

Amazon has posted a “teaser” video to YouTube trailing a launch event on June 18th – where it is expected to announce a new smartphone.

Whilst the teaser video (see below) doesn’t show any products, there’s a lot of people looking downwards and looking impressed… and unless Amazon are moving into making “specialist” films for Amazon Instant Video, surely they’re looking at a phone?

Why this is particularly interesting other than that another major player is entering the phone space is that rumour has it the phone will do “3D” by having multiple front-facing cameras built in – not to take selfies, but for motion tracking (similar to the Xbox Kinect).
