LG have launched the SU420 Cafe Phone in their native market of Korea. Many high-end Korean phones throw in a mobile TV tuner these days, but the Cafe Phone goes one better by introducing the DMB 2.0 standard.

If you’ve never heard of DMB 2.0 before, it’s a relatively new broadcasting standard across internet connections, giving users relevant web information along with the images on screen. Think of stuff like links to buy products seen in adverts, or streams of comments from friends to accompany Britain’s Got Talent.

In terms of specs, the LG SU420 also features a 3.2 inch WVGA touchscreen, a 3 megapixel camera plus a front-mounted one for video calls, Wi- Fi and HSPA connectivity, GPS, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 1250 mAh battery and a microSD memory card slot.

No word on this hitting UK shores anytime soon, but would love to see it arrive in time for the World Cup finals.
