microsim.jpgO2 and Vodafone have just announced that they will be offering iPad tariff pricing plans in the UK and various over countries across the globe.

That said, there are sweet little details on what the pricing plans will actually be like, with near identical, tightly-lipped releases from both companies.

Vodafone’s announcement reads: “Vodafone today announced that it will offer dedicated iPad price plans for all models from the end of May in Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK”, and is followed by a few tidbits of common-knowledge info on the iPad itself.

O2’s statment says: “O2 today announced that it will offer dedicated iPad price plans for all models from the end of May in the UK”. Cue a similar slew of iPad facts and figures.

Neither suggests however that they will be stocking the iPad itself, so these price plans will likely only refer to the microSIM cards the iPad uses to access the net away from Wi-Fi networks.

More news, undoubtedly, come May.
