This staggering achievement makes a total of 80 weeks in the top 10 for Nintendo’s DS concentration masterclass, a stay which takes the all time record from the original Tomb Raider on the old PlayStation. Not even the GTA games have lasted as long as Nintendo’s odd maths and memory game.

According to sales monitor Chart-Track, seven of the top 10 best-selling games in the UK this week were Wii or DS exclusives, with only SEGA’s Olympic tie-in Beijing 2008 managing to stop it being an all-Nintendo top five. You might want to start stockpiling Wiis and DSs to sell on eBay this Christmas. The nation is still 100% Nintendo crazy.
