Reigncom unveils iriver e100 media player

Another iPod competitor, this time from Reigncom and its iriver e100 media player.
Using the company’s new ‘D-Click’ control system for better usabiity, it offers up a 2.4-inch TFT LCD screen, audio support for MP3, WMA, OGG, ASF and FLAC, plus video playback of MP4 SP, WMV9 and XVID.
Add to that two built-in speakers, an internal mic, direct encoding and high-quality recording function, text and photo viewing, FM radio and a microSD slot and you have a fairly decent all-rounder. Available from April 11th in Japan, it sells for the equivalent of £68 (4GB) or £93 (8GB).
