Dell PCs to be sold in Tesco stores throughout UK
Dell has decided that it really likes shops after all. Just a week after it announced the DSG deal that will see a range of Dell computers being sold in the likes of PC World, Currys, and Dixons, it has launched a new partnership with Tesco.
From January, customers will be able to pick up XPS and Inspiron products in most of Tesco’s UK stores, plus some in Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
The press release doesn’t mention exactly which Tesco stores will sell them, though it’s a fair bet that you’ll not be able to pick up a Dell at the small local shops.
Mark Ormerod, VP and General Manager for Consumer Business at Dell EMEA, said that Tesco’s 13 million weekly customers would now benefit from being able to experience Dell’s technology first hand.
