wp-iphone.jpgBlogging from an iPhone? You’d need to be pretty ninja typing on the on-screen keyboard, but I guess there’s a market for it. If you’re salivating at the prospect, you’ll be wanting a new WordPress plug-in called WPhone, which lets you blog from Apple’s handset.

What’s more, pages are optimised to make it a zippy experience even over the EDGE network, while there’s also a separate plug-in version designed for other mobile phones. WordPress is one of the most popular blogging platforms for consumers and pro-bloggers alike, so it’s good news.

That said, WordPress isn’t the only such platform targeting iPhone users. In September, Six Apart announced that it had launched an iPhone-friendly version of its Typepad blogging service.
