Three cheers for technological cost-cutting!
UK manufacturer CSR has revealed its latest development – a Bluetooth-enabled MP3 player that costs less than $10 to make. And that $10 figure also includes a colour OLED display, battery and mini USB connector.
CSR makes bits to go in products from the likes of Apple, Dell, LG, and Nokia, so expect future offerings from that lot to include wireless Bluetooth music sharing features.
The clever little BlueCore player also allows streaming of stereo music to two separate headsets, so brace yourself for lots of sickening “lifestyle” adverts featuring fashionable young couples sharing their love of music with each other.
