LG rolls out world's smallest Plasma TV, the 32PC5RV *tumbleweed*
You can tell it’s the world’s smallest Plasma telly, that was the largest photo of it we could find on the intertubes – actual life-size dimensions. FACT.
Ok, that’s as factual as Chuck Norris facts, but you get the drift. The 32PC5RV measures 32-inches, as you’d guess from the model name, and of all the places in the world to launch a new TV, they chose Brasil. Guess their PR department really fancied some sun…
This is the first 32″ Plasma TV, all other 32″ HDTVs are LCDs. It will be released in the US, Europe and selected other countries in November, and will retail for approximately $1,000. Specs which have been leaked thus far point at a reported 852×480 resolution, 550 lumen brightness and an underwhelming 1,800:1 contrast ratio.
