Casio launches Exilim Zoom EX-Z77 and the Exilim Card EX-S880 camera with YouTube Best Shot mode

Casio has launched two YouTube-friendly cameras – the Exilim 7.2 megapixel Zoom EX-Z77 and the 8.1 megapixel Exilim Card EX-S880.

So why are they YouTube? Wi-Fi maybe? Sadly no, they feature what’s called YouTube Best Shot mode, which uses H.264 compression to shoot and save clips save at the optimum size and quality for YouTube. The uploading is still down to you, your PC and Casio’s bundled software.

Both models include a blur reduction function that uses motion analysis technology, an auto-tracking AF system, and face detection technology. The EX-S880 also features 3x optical zoom and a 2.8-inch LCD display, with a choice of silver, black and red for the case. The EX-Z77 also has 3x optical zoom, along with 2.6-inch display and a colour choice of silver, black, red, blue and pink.

Prices to be confirmed.
