If you’re an O2 customer, you can pick up Prince’s new single for free – before it’s even available to the rest of the music-buying public.

Prince’s new single, ‘Guitar’, is free one week before its general release from O2’s online blueroom http://www.o2.co.uk/prince, which is 27th June – 3rd July 2007. Once downloaded, the track can be played on your PC or transferred to a mobile phone or digital music player. Prince, as you might know, is playing 21 nights at the O2 Arena (formerly the Millenium Dome) this summer, so there’s obviously a theme developing here.

In fact, O2 are also offering a ‘Guitar’ ringtone – but that’s not free, it costs £1.50 from O2 Active.
