Second Life gets its brands mapped
By now, you’ll know all about the way big brands are setting up shop within Second Life, to do some virtual marketing. But did you know how to find them?
Thankfully, someone’s produced a handy brand map of Linden Labs’ world, showing where the likes of Reuters, Channel 4 and Adidas are based.
But not every brand wants to get involved in Second Life. MTV has just signed a deal with German games firm 10tacle Studios to set up its OWN virtual world next year, which will blend multimedia gubbins from MTV’s archives, and more modern online games. Smart.
