So you’re driving along, and you get stuck in traffic, so you whip out your Cario laptop and mount it on your steering wheel. Which locks up your steering wheel and enacts all other kinds of safety precautions intended to prevent you from doing precisely what you just did. Properly, you shouldn’t even be able to turn the thing on while you’re driving, but people aren’t supposed to be able to run their DVD players while driving either and I get hypnotized by Lilo and Stitch all the damn time in traffic. Given the Mythbusters have demonstrated that driving while talking on a mobile is more dangerous than drink driving this well-intentioned invention is perhaps not such a hot idea. [GT]
