Sony introduces Cyber-Shot W80 and W90 models

Yet more Cyber-Shots, this time the W80 and W90, which bear striking similarities to the previously-announced T20 and T100 models.

Both models are similar, with the W80 offering 7.2 effective megapixels and the W90 8.1 effective megapixels, both featuring a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.5-inch LCD screen and full HD quality connectivity – still images can be viewed on a HD-ready display with an optional connection cable or HD docking station.

Both also feature Double Anti-Blur technology, Face Detection technology for automatically optimised focus, exposure and flash, VGA 30fps movie mode with audio, 28MB internal storage and a 300-shot rechargeable battery.

The Cyber-shot W80 will be available throughout Europe from the end of March and the W90 from the beginning of March.
