To go with your waterproof headphones we featured last month, how about a water-resistant MP3 player – like the Hydra MP3 player from Ultra Products.

Another word I should throw in here is "budget" – so ideal if you want a player by the pool, but don’t want to risk losing an expensive model. The player comes with a choice of 1GB or 2GB storage, features an LCD screen for track and function information and uses drag and drop via USB for transferring tracks. The Hydra can play back tracks in MP3, WAV, ACT or WMA format – no mention of DRM, so we’ll presume not.
