That chronicler of all that’s hip and happening – the, errr, Wall Street Journal – is reporting that Apple execs have been in negotiations with music industry heavyweights over the possibility of selling music videos via iTunes.
Naturally this will massively excite the Americans – but isn’t really big bananas for us Europeans as we have had music video downloads to phones for over two years now. It would be good though to have all that back catalogue available via iTunes. Makes you wonder too which video format Apple would use and presumably how long it would be before it unveiled a video iPod. Also how would MTV respond?
