Xbox 360 Slim
Slimmer, quieter and with built-in Wi-Fi, the Slim 360 console was a worthy upgrade to the initial Xbox design. With options to boost to a 250GB hard drive and a Kinect port too, it was still a very reasonable purchase with prices floating around the £200 mark. It also all-but solved the dreaded red-ring of death problem by implementing a more hardy motherboard and better cooling systems. Good work, Microsoft!

In no particular order, here’s our favourite Xbox 360 kit and games of 2010.
