Sony has revealed two fresh Blu-ray enabled Home Theatre PCs. They’re a fairly unique squashed cyclinder shape and offer built-in DVR functionality capable of recording up to 50 hours of HD TV programming.
The more expensive model – the TP25 – now offers a far more sensible array of two external CableCARD compatible TV Tuners, which allows you to record one program while watching another.
The computing power behind these PCs comes from a new Intel T8100 Core 2 Duo processor. The Vaio TP25 and TP20 are set to cost in the region of $1,600 and $3,000 respectively.
