Star Wars Mimobots finally available in the UK
We featured the Star Wars Mimobots some months back, usually with a line about them only being available to US customers. Until now that is – with the sci-fi characters now being sold in the UK by Firebox.

Isn’t it annoying when you try to hook up a monitor to your PC, only to discover that – gosh darn it – you haven’t got any video outputs? Well Samsung has you covered; the SyncMaster 2263DX is capable of connecting via USB “without the need for any additional video hardware”. Admittedly, we’ve struggled to think of a single occasion when this has actually happened to us, but after a bit of brain storming we realised that this could be brilliant for laptop users who don’t have a VGA output on their machines.

CES 2008: Pinnacle solve video transfer woes with their accurately named Video Transfer unit
Pinnacle was showcasing their wares to all and sundry at CES Unveiled today. One of the products they have up their sleeve for you all is the Video Transfer unit, a simple USB device which allows you to copy a video to any USB device, like an iPod, PSP or PMP.
Not requiring a PC, you just transfer video from the source to the storage device, such as one of those saved vids…
