To celebrate its 90th Birthday, high-end home audio and home cinema company, Bang & Olufsen, has announced the launch of this stunning looking BeoLab 90 loudspeaker. Set to take sound quality to new levels with a price tag to match, the innovative speaker combines, so the manufacturer claims, world-class design with acoustics.

It aims to be the most powerful digital loudspeaker ever designed for use in the home and will, so B&O claims, inspire the future of sound.

The highly sophisticated BeoLab 90 combines a multitude of technologies with world-class design and acoustics in Bang & Olufsen’s most innovative speaker to date. The 360 degree design is based on a complex aluminium cabinet totalling more than 65 kg, measuring the acoustic effects of its surroundings to direct stunning sound to users’ favourite listening positions.

Designed by Frackenpohl and Poulheim, the 135kg powerhouse is pentagonal in shape combined with the rhombus shape of its black fabric covers. The recommended price of BeoLab 90 is a whopping £26,995 per unit (ie. £53,990 for the pair) with first deliveries expected end of year.
