Google blocks Mobile Firefox from viewing the Play Store

Was it something they said? According to IT Pro Portal, the web version of the Google Play store is no longer accessible on the mobile version of Firefox.


The move appears to be a change in policy – which previously let Firefox users browse the web-based store.

The good news is that Google isn’t being completely anti-competitive – Firefox the app is still available on Google Play, and presumably through the Google Play app, but it is a sign that Google is perhaps taking the competition more seriously, and is keen to get people using its own browser, Chrome.
