Deezer gets Chromecast support

Music streaming service Deezer has announced this morning that it is to add support for Google’s Chromecast streaming dongle.

The Chromecast update will add a whole new TV interface for the app – and perhaps most intriguingly, it will support multiple simultaneous users. The press release says:

“The integration includes a new feature, which allows multiple Deezer users to interact with the app on one TV at the same time, combining their own favourite tracks with Deezer’s expert editorial recommendations to create a virtual, co-created music player.”

Sounds intriguing – sounds like this update could be fun at parties.

The update will kick in tomorrow (25th June) and will be available to users of Deezer’s “Premium+” service.

Your move, Spotify.
