Samsung Galaxy S5 ACTIVE spotted

Samsung’s design team must never get bored. This morning, just days after the aluminium-bodied Galaxy S5 Prime was spotted there’s now the ruggedised Galaxy S5 Active.

YouTuber TK Tech News got his hands on the device, which sports a tougher case, with a clear expectation that it’ll get bashed about. So it might be a good choice for anyone who is, well, active.

In the video it is also claimed that the screen is even higher resolution than the S5. Though the S5 is a full HD AMOLED display, the one in the Active appears to be even higher resolution than that. We’ll let you know if we get confirmation.

Now though the big question is can the S5 Active survive being run over by a massive digger?
