and Engadget.

Expected to be a Japan-only release at present, the handset is looking might impressive.

A giant 5-inches in size, the screen runs at a full HD 1080p resolution, running off a speedy 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor, backed by 2GB of RAM, and housing 32GB of storage and a sizeable 3,000mAh battery.

Android Jelly Bean is thought to be the OS of choice, with a 13MP camera on the rear of the 139 x 70 x 10.1mm handset, weighing 160g altogether.

Keep in mind that we’ve yet to see the LG Optimus G or any of its spin offs hit the UK yet, so don’t hold out too much hope to see it hit old Blighty just yet. We’ll keep you posted if we see anything pop up at next month’s Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.
