Ready for your daily dosage of “cute girl riding a bicycle”? Good, because Nokia have released a teaser video that’s pretty much solely made up of a cute girl riding a bicycle.

Why, you so rightly ask? That’s because the clip is teasing a significant launch event for 5 September.

What that launch event is could be anyone’s guess, but with Nokia stating in the video that “Things are about to change”, we’ve got a a few ideas.

Could we finally be about to see Nokia’s impressive 41MP PureView camera technology land inside a Windows Phone device? Even better, could it be within a Windows Phone 8 device?

The video, in which the girl poses for the camera, could be construed as suggesting that (though we’d be a lot happier if she was wearing a helmet – hurtling around a dock while doing hand-dancing on a bike isn’t the safest of pastimes).

We’ll be keeping a close eye on Nokia’s eventual announcements, so check back here come September 5th for all the details.

  • …or maybe it’s doing a similar tease like what the Nokia 808 Pureview did. Sample pictures that were zoomed, which is digital, ‘but retains a high resolution due to the 41Mp sensor’. Could be with video or does the Nokia 808/other phones do that?

  • The idea I was going for was:
recording HD and snap a picture at the same time, simultaneously. But I heard the HTC One X can perform that. So I doubt that fits with the “Things are about to change” motto…
