samsung-wb100.jpgSamsung have today lifted the covers off their latest bridge camera, the WB100. Despite an impressive, pro-grade sepc list, Samsung claim the camera is a great first step up the ladder for photography fans looking to take their shooting a little more seriously.

Packing in a 16 megapixel image sensor, 26x Optical High Zoom lens and a 22.3mm ultra wide-angle lens, Samsung have also popped in Dual Image Stabilisation (OIS + DIS) which helps steady moving subjects and aids point-and-shoot beginners. An on-screen insturction manual offers tutorials on how best to capture images too.

Elsewhere, the camera also captures 720p/30fps HD video, which can be played back on the HD preview screen. 3D photos can also be captured, as well as Panorama shots.

No word on pricing or release schedule yet, but you will be able to pick up the WB100 in either black or red.
