Trio of vids show off 1080p Motorola Droid 3
Motorola’s next step in the evolution of their Droid smartphone line has popped up online courtesy of three “tutorial” videos on gadget blog PhonePads.
Dubbed the Motorola Droid 3, headline features include 1080p video recording, an 8MP camera and HDMI-output. As with earlier versions of the Droid, this 3rd-gen model will have a full QWERTY slider.
Chip-wise, you’ll be getting a TI OMAP 4430 instead of the Droid 2’s NVIDIA Tegra 2, though the screen resolution remains 540×960.
No word on OS build yet, but we’re hoping Motorola see fit to squeeze Android 2.3 into the mix.
We’ll keep you posted on official specs and pricing, but for now check out those three videos, embedded below.
