Touchscreen/QWERTY combo BlackBerry Dakota leaked

Fancy a BlackBerry with a physical QWERTY AND a touchscreen, that isn’t the underperforming Torch of course? Well it looks as if RIM are trying the one-two touch-and-type combo once again in the shape of the BlackBerry Dakota, just leaked over at BGR.

A full size QWERTY as opposed to the shrunken one present in the sliding Torch, the Dakota looks more like a Bold with a 2.8 inch touchscreen slapped on to the top.

Elsewhere the Dakota features HD recording capabilities and a 5MP camera, as well as near field communication technology for contactless payments, a compass and an accelerometer.

No news on a UK release yet, but expect to hear more come the Mobile World Congress expo next month.
