BREAKING: Facebook down for over five hours in many territories

News coming in of some serious down-time issues being experienced by some Facebook users. Twitter is buzzing with reports from Sweden, Norway and other European nations that the social network is firing-up blank pages for the many, many users in those territories.
DownRightNow, showing down-time lengths of sites experiencing problems, shows that Facebook has now been in trouble for over 5 hours, as illustrated in the chart above.

it has been down here too (Berkshire) I miss it 🙁
facebook is down in uk where i am (eastmidlands) and has been since around 2.30am this morning. Is now starting to load, just, but not much is working and very very slow!
