Metallica.jpgActivision have just announced that all 39 tracks from their Guitar Hero Metallica game will be compatible with their forthcoming Warriors of Rock release. Those who pick up the game between the 28th September and October 5th will be able to import the previously available tracks for free.

After that, you’ll have to pay a fee for the privilege, which seems a bit mean considering you’ve already bought the game once.

The Guitar Hero Metallica disc import will be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 for 480 Microsoft Points, on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3 for £4.12 and for Wii for 600 Wii Points.  In addition to the in-game music store, Xbox 360 owners can expand their Guitar Hero music library using the Guitar Hero VIP Pass Music Store, available exclusively on Xbox LIVE network.
