Dr Seuss big.jpgDr Seuss is all set to get lyrical on the iPad, with Oceanhouse Media having just released Apple tablet updates for their three most popular Dr Seuss iPhone apps.

The Cat in the Hat, Dr Seuss’s ABC and How the Grinch Stole Christmas are now all iPad compatible, costing $2.99 a piece.

As well as barking-mad rhyming tales, the Dr Seuss iPad apps also work as audiobooks, with narrator and auto-play functions built-in. Also, tapping any item on the screen brings up the name of the item, as well as having the narrator read the name out load, which will be great for kids making their first steps towards reading by themselves.

So what do you think of this new wave of edu-tainment ebook apps flooding the App Store? Are they the future of interactive learning, or just glorified V-Tech programs? Let us know!
