I like a good Lumix camera. They’re good. Well, mostly.

Below you’ll find a collection of four compacts from Panasonic – the LS85, the FS6, FS7 and the FS15. Some of them are, like I say, good and some of them, not so good.

They all look pretty hideous but they also all use LSI, Venus Engine IV processing technology allowing them fast snapping, ISO ratings of 6400 and the ability to shoot HD quality video in 16:9, although that seems rather dated after Philips’s announcement this morning.

Each comes with the usual bag of face detecting, intelligent scene and auto modes and not just optical image stabilisation but something known as MEGA O/I/S which may or may not be a long lost Transformer.

Click the first of them below for a closer look at what’ll be hitting the shelves later this year.
