Adobe to release CS4 soon, Photoshop available for mobiles
Adobe have said that they’ll be launching the newest versions of their flagship software – Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Acrobat and InDesign – the “Creative Suite” on the 23rd of September. Preview versions of Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Soundbooth are already available.
In other Adobe news, they’re revamping their Photoshop Express system – the flash-based, cut-down online version of the popular image editing software. It’s being rebranded as Photoshop.com, and there’s going to be a mobile version, too.
You’ll be able to upload, browse and share photos with friends, as well as transferring pictures taken over to services like Flickr and Facebook. Sadly you won’t be able to do any editing on your mobile device, but I think that might be a tad awkward anyway – depending on how dextrous you are.
The mobile beta will arrive sometime this month, and as mentioned above, CS4 will be out at the end of the month. Start saving, because Adobe applications are never cheap…
