The success of the Chocolate seems to have gone to the heads, or certainly the taste buds, of those at LG, who have today launched their latest cellular/culinary fusion in the shape of the LG-LH5000 aka the Ice Cream phone.

It comes in all sorts of deliciously cute colours, named after flavours, such as pistachio, strawberry and, if you’re really dull, vanilla. Each of the 13.6mm thick clamshell cases emotes heart-shaped or smiley face lights when you’re popular enough to receive a call and so long as you’re not attempting to hold onto any shreds of masculinity, I can see the LG Ice Cream being a sweet little winner.

It’s 3G enabled, has an 2.2 inch QVGA colour screen, a 2 megapixel camera and mercifully doesn’t dribble down your arm on a hot day. It comes in between US$400-US$500 but before you get too excited, it’s only available in Korea at the moment. Patience my pretties, patience.
